The 2012 Toyota Prius One is a standout choice for eco-conscious drivers seeking efficiency and reliability. This model boasts a variety of impressive features that make it a top contender in the hybrid vehicle market.

One of the most notable features is **Brake Assist**, which enhances your ability to stop quickly in emergency situations. This technology senses panic braking and applies maximum brake power to help prevent accidents. Similarly, the **Electronic Stability Control** monitors your vehicle dynamics, acting instantly to help maintain traction even in slippery conditions, ensuring a safer driving experience.

The **Variable Valve Timing** system optimizes engine performance across various speeds, providing better fuel efficiency and lower emissions. This is complemented by the **Inline 4-Cylinder** engine, which strikes a balance between adequate horsepower and economical maintenance. Additionally, the **Dual Overhead Camshaft DOHC** design allows for greater power and efficiency, enabling you to reach your destination faster.

When it comes to fuel delivery, the **Sequential Multi-Point Electronic Fuel Injection** system ensures precise fuel distribution, contributing to cleaner emissions and improved performance. In terms of entertainment, the **Wireless Audio Streaming** feature allows you to enjoy your favorite music and podcasts effortlessly via your mobile device.

Security is also a priority, with the **Ignition Immobilizer** preventing unauthorized access to your vehicle. The **Wireless Connectivity** feature ensures you can make calls hands-free, keeping you focused on the road. With **External Memory Control**, you can easily access and manage your digital media while driving.

For added safety, the **External Acoustic Pedestrian Alert** emits sounds to warn pedestrians of your vehicle’s presence, which is particularly crucial for hybrid and electric cars. The **Hill Hold Control** feature is a lifesaver on inclines, preventing your vehicle from rolling backward when starting on a slope.

Finally, the **Automatic Air Conditioning** feature takes the hassle out of temperature control, automatically adjusting settings to maintain your desired climate.

In summary, the 2012 Toyota Prius One is not just about fuel efficiency; it is equipped with advanced features that enhance safety, performance, and convenience, making it a smart choice for modern drivers. With its thoughtful engineering, the Prius One proves to be a reliable and innovative vehicle that meets the demands of today’s eco-friendly lifestyle.

    • Better then expected

I bought the Prius II because of the gas milage more than anything else. I didn't have high expectations other than the gas milage. Was I suprised when I started driving it. The Prius had much more power then I expected. My brother owns the Civic hybrid and the Prius' power blows it out of the water. I have no problems jumping on the highways and going up the Cajon Pass on the way to Las vegas. It also handles well. After 22000 miles, I'm averaging 46 MPG. With gas now over $4.00 and rising, I'm sure glad I have my Prius. I have it for a 3 year lease which expires next year. I will either buy it or I am also looking at the new Prius V. Either way, I will be a prius owner for years to come.
    • Best car I've ever owned.

Driving back and forth to FL. from RI at 50.3 MPG. is unbeatable. Absolutely no mechanical problems whatsoever. However, it's not the prettiest car I've ever owned, nor the most comfortable on a long trip.
    • Love my 2010 Prius after 10 years

I still love my car. It has given me no issues. I still do regular maintenance and the car just keeps moving. All the components are still together and working. CD changers, Navigation, heated seats, etc. I cannot even imagine replacing the car even over 10 years that's the really good thing about Toyota. They are built for quality and high reliability.
